AlgarExperience has launched the 3rd edition of “Journey to the Blue Kingdom”, an initiative developed in partnership with the Municipality of Albufeira. Over the past two years, this project has enabled hundreds of children from the municipality to deepen their connection with the sea and better understand the importance of the ocean in our lives.

The new edition started on November 27, allowing students from various local schools to join us on board to discover, experience, and learn more about ocean preservation.
Para muitas destas crianças, o Reino Azul representa mais do que um passeio de barco, é uma verdadeira descoberta, sendo até, para algumas, a primeira vez a bordo de um barco.

During the journey, students had the opportunity to closely observe the natural richness of the Algarve coast. They are guided through the history and formation of the Benagil caves and the geological structures that shape our coastline, learn more about the species that inhabit our sea, and share simple everyday actions that we can all adopt to help protect the ocean.
And, with a bit of luck, some groups may even spot dolphins!

For AlgarExperience, this initiative represents much more than an institutional partnership.
It is a way of giving back to the community that has always welcomed us and of placing maritime tourism at the service of education and environmental awareness.

With the start of this 3rd edition, we remain certain that each child who takes part in this experience returns home with a new perspective on the ocean and a memory for life.
