Check-In:
Check-in must be completed at least 30 minutes before the activity at the AlgarExperience counters in Albufeira Marina.
It is mandatory to present the booking number at check-in, preferably in physical (“paper”) or digital format.
All group members must be present at the time of check-in.
Changes by AlgarExperience:
AlgarExperience reserves the right to change, without prior notice, the schedule, vessel, or experience conditions whenever necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of customers.
The prices shown (RRP) are subject to change, including adjustments related to VAT at the applicable legal rate.
Responsibility for Personal Belongings:
AlgarExperience is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings on board the vessels or during the experience.
It is the customer’s responsibility to properly safeguard their belongings. We recommend using waterproof and appropriate safety equipment to protect valuables.
Conduct and Attire:
Check-in/boarding will be denied to customers wearing inappropriate or offensive clothing or anything that may compromise the decorum and safety of the experiences.
Access will also be refused to customers visibly under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Bringing food or beverages on board is prohibited, except for baby food.
Minors:
Children under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult throughout the experience.
Image Use:
By purchasing a ticket, the customer authorizes the capture and dissemination of photographs and videos taken during the event. If they do not authorize, they must expressly communicate this intention at the check-in counter before the activity begins.
Wi-Fi and Security:
The vessels are equipped with Wi-Fi systems, with potential technical failures accounted for.
All vessels comply with European safety standards. Várzeamar, the responsible company, holds all mandatory insurance and is licensed by Turismo de Portugal (RNAAT No. 265/2010).
Conditions for Visiting the Benagil Caves:
Safety Conditions Assessment:
Entry into the Benagil Caves depends on the daily evaluation of weather and sea conditions by the Maritime Authority and the vessel’s Skipper.
In cases of precautionary measures or restrictions imposed by the Maritime Authority, or if the Skipper determines that conditions do not ensure safety, entry into the caves will be canceled.
Refunds:
Activities take place in natural environments subject to unpredictable conditions.
If it is not possible to visit one or more caves due to safety reasons or weather conditions, no refund will be issued. This policy aims to ensure participant safety and comply with applicable regulations.
Cancellation Policies
Public Experiences:
Full refund for cancellations made at least 12 hours in advance for reservations of up to 9 people.
Full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance for reservations of 10 or more people.
Cancellations that do not meet the established deadlines will not be eligible for a refund, except in duly justified cases with a valid medical certificate.
In cases of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances duly recognized by AlgarExperience, an alternative date for the experience will be suggested. If the alternative date is not feasible, a refund will be considered, deducting administrative costs of up to 10% of the reservation value.
Private Experiences:
Full refund for cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance.
50% refund of the total estimated amount for cancellations made between 72 and 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be refunded.
In cases of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances duly recognized by AlgarExperience, an alternative date will be offered. If no date is agreed upon, a partial refund may be issued, deducting up to 15% of the amount as an administration and preparation fee.
Events:
Full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days in advance.
50% refund of the estimated or agreed amount for cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will not be refunded.
In cases of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances duly recognized by AlgarExperience, a new date for the event will be proposed. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund will be issued, deducting administrative and logistical costs of up to 20% of the total amount.
Events:
Full refund for cancellations made at least 7 days in advance.
50% refund of the estimated or agreed amount for cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours in advance.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will not be refunded.
In cases of adverse weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances duly recognized by AlgarExperience, a new date for the event will be proposed. If rescheduling is not possible, a partial refund will be issued, deducting administrative and logistical costs of up to 20% of the total amount.

OBJECT
This document (hereinafter referred to simply as "General Terms") regulates the general terms and conditions of use of the website you have just accessed, owned by Várzeamar – Actividades Marítimo-Turísticas, S.A., as well as the terms and conditions for booking tourist entertainment activities organized by the company, particularly maritime tourism activities, through this website.
INTRODUCTORY PROVISIONS

2. Use of the website 2.1. The use of the website, whether through simple browsing or by establishing a commercial relationship with AlgarExperience through the respective website, grants you the status of User and implies full and unreserved acceptance of all the provisions included in these General Conditions as well as in the Privacy Policy in force at the time of access to the website.
2.2. These General Conditions apply to all Users of the website, including, without limitation, visitors, customers, and others not specifically identified.
2.3. The contractual offer for booking tourist entertainment activities organized by AlgarExperience, particularly maritime tourism activities, on the website is intended only for adults with full legal capacity who can, therefore, be held responsible for the commitments arising from the booking.
2.4. If the User does not agree with these General Terms in their entirety, they should not access the website or use its associated features and services. In particular, making any reservation through the website depends on the acceptance of these General Terms. Therefore, if the User does not accept them, they will not be able to make reservations through the website.
2.5. By accepting these General Terms, the User does so on their own behalf and/or on behalf of the organization they represent (if applicable). By making reservations through our website, the User declares that they are over 18 years old, guaranteeing that they have full legal capacity for the actions they perform and the necessary authority to accept these terms. Furthermore, by accepting these General Terms, the User expressly declares that they will not use the website and its associated features and services for any illegal and/or unlawful purposes.
2.6. AlgarExperience reserves the right to modify these General Terms at any time and without prior notice. Therefore, the User should review the General Terms before each use of the website and its associated features and services.
2.7. Without prejudice to the previous provision, any changes to the General Terms made after the confirmation of a reservation will not bind the User regarding that reservation. The General Terms in effect at the time of the reservation confirmation will apply.
2.8. AlgarExperience guarantees the security of the account within the expected and appropriate security measures for platforms like the website.
2.9. AlgarExperience is not responsible for damages resulting from interferences, interruptions, computer viruses, malfunctions, or operating system disconnections that may temporarily prevent Users from accessing, browsing, or receiving services.
2.10. Under no circumstances shall AlgarExperience and/or its representatives and employees be held liable for any damages that may arise, even accidentally, from the malfunction of the website, regardless of the cause or duration of such malfunction, or for any damages caused by reproduction, use, or exploitation.
2.11. A violation of these General Terms by the User constitutes grounds for termination by AlgarExperience. In any case, regardless of whether termination occurs, any violation of these General Terms by the User entitles AlgarExperience to compensation for all resulting damages. Furthermore, AlgarExperience reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to terminate the User's access to the website and its associated features and services, with or without prior notice.
RESERVATIONS
3. Conditions for Making Reservations
3.1. All reservations made online are subject to the Cancellation Policies available on the website.
The user is responsible for ensuring that they have read and understood these documents before proceeding with the reservation.
3.2. The ability to make reservations is subject to service availability on the requested date and compliance with the specific requirements of the selected experience, as described in the Terms and Conditions.
3.3. During the booking process, the User must:
a) Ensure that all provided information is complete, accurate, and up to date;
b) Meet the minimum age requirements or other specific conditions applicable to the selected experience;
c) Accept the applicable Terms and Conditions by confirming their agreement during the booking process.
3.4. The reservation will be considered complete after payment confirmation.
3.5. Group bookings or customized experiences may be subject to additional conditions, which will be communicated to the User before completing the reservation.
4. Terms and Conditions of Experiences
4.1. The specific conditions related to the experiences, such as cancellation policies, participation requirements, prices, and other relevant information, are detailed in the Terms and Conditions.
4.2. By completing the reservation, the user fully accepts the applicable Terms and Conditions available.
5. Online Booking Process
5.1. When making a reservation, the User must correctly fill out the booking form, specifying the dates, the desired experience type, associated add-ons, and the number of participants, including a detailed indication of children and infants attending the experience. The form will be subject to availability confirmation by AlgarExperience. The User must also provide personal details and payment information, taking full responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and updating of the submitted data.
5.2. Before completing the reservation, the User must read the "General Terms" and check the agreement box if they accept them. Acceptance of the "General Terms" is mandatory to complete the booking process. It is recommended that the User print and keep a copy of the General Terms for future reference.
5.3. After submitting the reservation, the User will receive an email detailing the reserved services, prices, accepted specific conditions, reservation date, and information related to the General Terms, as well as AlgarExperience contact details for any complaints.
5.4. The reservation will only be confirmed after full payment of the experience, which must be made at the time of booking exclusively via Visa or Mastercard, using the secure platform available on the website.
5.5. After payment confirmation, AlgarExperience will send an email confirming the reservation, summarizing the reserved services, prices, accepted conditions, reservation date, and useful information for future reference.
5.6. The cancellation and modification policies applicable to reservations are available on the website in the General Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policies and should be reviewed before booking. Any changes or cancellations will be subject to the terms specified in these policies.
5.7. AlgarExperience ensures the protection of User data provided during the payment process, in accordance with best security practices and applicable legislation.
FINAL PROVISIONS
6. Intellectual Property
6.1. AlgarExperience holds all intellectual property rights over the website.
6.2. The content made available by AlgarExperience through the website, including, without limitation, texts, images, design, trademarks, logos, and source codes, is protected by intellectual property laws and is owned or licensed by AlgarExperience and its suppliers or licensors. As such, this content, as well as any other elements protected by intellectual property rights, may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, without prior written authorization from AlgarExperience or the respective intellectual property rights holder, which the User acknowledges and accepts.
6.3. The User agrees not to make any abusive use of these contents. They may not be copied, disclosed, or used in any way, nor may software tools be used to collect protected content, including but not limited to robots, crawlers, or other automated mechanisms.
6.4. The User shall not copy, translate, disassemble, or decompile, nor create or attempt to create, by reverse engineering or any other means, the source code or object code of the website, as well as third-party tools, applications, and software associated with its operation, nor remove any confidentiality or intellectual property notices.
6.5. The User agrees to fully compensate AlgarExperience for any indemnities, costs, or expenses incurred as a result of claims of any kind or nature made against it by third parties, based on the violation of third-party rights, particularly intellectual property rights related to the use of content made available, provided, or published through the website and its associated services, including indemnities paid to third parties under agreements with them.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AlgarExperience shall only be liable for damages caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. AlgarExperience assumes no responsibility for the continuous availability of its website, particularly regarding mobile networks, the Internet, and mobile devices.
9. User Support and Complaints
The User may submit comments, suggestions, or complaints to AlgarExperience via telephone at (+351) 961 372 609 (Call to the national mobile/landline network), available Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 6 PM, or via email at info@algarexperience.com.
10. Alternative Dispute Resolution
10.1. The provisions of this clause apply exclusively to reservations made by end consumers, as defined in Law No. 24/96, of July 31, with subsequent amendments.
10.2. AlgarExperience informs that, under the Consumer Protection Law, consumer disputes of low economic value (below €5,000.00) are subject to mandatory arbitration or mediation whenever, by the express choice of consumers, they are submitted to an arbitration court associated with legally authorized consumer dispute resolution centers. Thus, in case of a dispute, the end consumer may resort to any of these means and must be represented by a lawyer or solicitor (or request legal aid under the legally established terms).
10.3. Furthermore, under Regulation (EU) 524/2013 of the European Parliament and the Council, the User may access the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform at https://webgate.ec.europa.eu/odr/main/index.cfm?event=main.home.chooseLanguage, where information is available on the possibility of using it to resolve disputes.
10.4. The Consumer Portal (www.consumidor.pt) also provides information on Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Entities available to promote the extrajudicial resolution of national and cross-border disputes under Law No. 144/2015, of September 8, with subsequent amendments. These apply when a consumer initiates a dispute against a goods supplier or service provider concerning contractual obligations arising from purchase and sale contracts or service agreements concluded between established suppliers or service providers and consumers residing in Portugal and the European Union.
THE USER DECLARES THAT THEY HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THESE GENERAL TERMS, AS WELL AS THE POLICIES ASSOCIATED WITH THEM, AND THAT THEY HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEEK INDEPENDENT LEGAL ADVICE BEFORE ACCEPTING THEM. THEY ALSO ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THIS IS THE COMPLETE AND EXCLUSIVE STATEMENT OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THEM AND ALGAREXPERIENCE, WHICH SUPERSEDES ANY PRIOR PROPOSAL OR AGREEMENT, WRITTEN OR ORAL, AND ANY OTHER COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THEM AND ALGAREXPERIENCE REGARDING THE SUBJECT MATTER OF THIS CONTRACT.

It is mandatory that all passengers present an identification document at check in to be able to board.
Single, double or triple flights are subject to the decision of the vessel's master at the time of the activity , subject to favorable maritime-atmospheric and technical conditions.

Check-in must be completed up to 30 minutes before the activity at the Pine Cliffs Resort reception, and you should then walk down to the beach or access the beach directly.
Although boarding and disembarking take place at an exclusive location, this experience is open to the general public — it is not exclusive to Pine Cliffs Resort guests.
If sea conditions do not allow boarding or disembarking at Pine Cliffs beach, we will ensure the experience takes place from Vilamoura Marina, with round-trip transfers included in the price of the experience for greater comfort.
