On March 10th, we had the pleasure of hosting the very first edition of “wOwPEN DAY”, a recruitment event that, despite the less-than-ideal weather conditions, was a true success. Our goal was to attract new talent to the maritime-tourism sector and, above all, to offer a unique insight into the daily life of our company.
What truly stood out was the opportunity to show candidates our culture and work environment.
To make that possible, we had the support of our Ambassadors — team members from different areas of AlgarExperience — who shared a realistic view of what it means to be part of our team. It was an enriching exchange of experiences, where participants could truly understand what it’s like to work here.

In addition, the event was a great opportunity to highlight the importance of the maritime-tourism sector and the roles that are harder to fill, such as boat masters and maintenance technicians, which require specific qualifications and field expertise.
